EPCS students had a magical time in Cologne and Bruges last weekend.
The highly popular annual Christmas markets trip gives students the opportunity to experience German culture first hand and practise their language skills.
This year 39 year 8-11 students enjoyed outdoor ice-skating and exploring the fabulous markets with their traditional German crafts and gifts. We even climbed the highest cathedral in Europe (at 157m …or 533 steps!)
It was delightful hearing the students ordering “Bratwurst” and “heisse Schokolade” in German and sampling local food and drinks like Mezzo Mix!
We look forward to returning in 2020!
