Beauty and the Beast saw hundreds of students, parents and members of the community come together earlier in December. Students involved showed absolute commitment and dedication for 8 weeks in total, from the audition process, to dress rehearsals and finally performing four stunning shows across two days. From after school rehearsals to technical rehearsals the cast were professional and have an experience they will never forget.

A huge well done to all of the cast and crew of Beauty & the Beast – you have done EPCS proud!

Students who took part ranged from Year 7 up to Year 12, some of them choosing PA as an option, others having never stepped on stage before which deserves huge respect.

It was also great to be able to use our brand new, state-of-the-art, lighting and sound systems, making for some great visuals for the audience. Highlights noted by the audience were the ensemble numbers ‘ Gaston’ and ‘Be Our Guest’ and when asking our cast, they couldn’t pick out any single performance – they loved it all!

Finally, a massive CONGRATULATIONS to the year 10 music students who set up and operated the new sound system in completion for a unit of Live Sound Exam. Pending the completion of their written work, all students passed with flying colours!
