Learning Support Assistant, specialising in Emotional Literacy

Fixed Term contract initially until 31 August 2025

KGA-02-3, FTE £24,392 (£12.63 Per hour), Actual salary is £15,902 inclusive of London Weighting and Holiday entitlement. 

28 hrs 45 minutes per week, Monday to Friday, 8.50am – 3.10pm (including 35-minutes unpaid breaks), term-time only.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, hard-working, with energy, drive, and passion.  You will work under the guidance of teaching staff and the SENCo to provide support to address the needs of individuals or small groups of students who may require specific help to overcome barriers to learning. This role may also suit a graduate who is looking at a future career in teaching.

The Learning Support Department plays an important role in the work of the school and you would join a friendly and supportive staff.

Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA) Support Worker

KGA05-6 – KGA05-9 (annual increment) – £26,358 to £28,069 FTE (£13.66 to £14.58 per hour)

Actual starting salary is £22,140 per annum (£13.66 per hour) inclusive of London Weighting and Holiday Entitlement

37 hours per week, term time only – Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm (4pm on Friday), half hour unpaid break included.

We are seeking an EBSA support worker to work with any of our students who struggle to come to school, perhaps due to a lack of confidence, which can lead to anxiety.  Through a nurturing supportive environment, your role will be to build confidence and aspirations so they can eventually take a full part in school life.
